Media

Clinical records remain the property of the client and at any time a request may be made for a copy of the clinical records. Similarly, a copy of any recorded image e.g. x-rays or laboratory results can be made available to the client.

What are your rights?

You may have access to your personal data held at any time on request. If at any point you believe that the personal information we hold is incorrect, you can request to have it corrected or deleted. Under the GDPR rulings, we would inform our users within 72 hours if any breach of security occurs that might compromise your data.

Individual control and transparency are our core principles. As a user of the EQUINE MEDICAL SOLUTIONS CANCER ADVISORY SERVICE portal, you have always been in control of what information is added to the patient’s record, who can view that information, and who can read, add, or update the patient’s record. All information is password protected and encrypted. We only hold information that is specifically and categorically required to perform our functions correctly and safely. Since we do need to contact individual practices on a day to day basis we hold the information regarding contacts until specifically requested to delete them or alter them.

We continually evaluate our practices on privacy policy. We believe we have taken all necessary steps to ensure the safety and confidentiality of the information we hold. The information we hold regarding patient owners is strictly limited to the name and phone number. Holding this is essential for the safety issues associated with our panel of medications.
