We are delighted to have been the lucky winners of a book ‘Clinical Equine Oncology’ which was kindly donated by Equine Medical Solutions Ltd. The book is authored by experts including Professor Derek Knottenbelt OBE BVM&S DVM&S DipECEIM MRCVS who is a medicine specialist and world leading expert in equine skin and cancer. Derek regularly works closely with us managing all types of cancer cases, in particular sarcoids. We often wonder how he has time for this alongside his lifelong dedication to improving the lives of working equids and families whose lives depend upon them in the developing world, where he spends much of his time.
